Caramelised, nutty and crystalline — a mature Gouda with real depth rather than simple sweetness.
Moulin des Moëres is made in the Netherlands and matured for a minimum of 24 months by affineur Losfeld. Warm maturation keeps enough moisture in the paste while developing roasted hazelnut, dark caramel and a satisfying crystalline crunch.
Pair it with
A few things from the shop that work particularly well with this cheese.
Love this cheese on its own or topping my fav tomato soup. Yum.
L'Amuse Signature Gouda is one of those lesser-known gems that we love people discovering. Its complex flavours with that hint of caramel is such a tasty delight.
A truely authentic Dutch Gouda exactly how it’s meant to taste …absolutely delicious it’s one of our favourites
We waited years and years to be able to sell L'Amuse Gouda at Harper & Blohm and we both know it was well worth the wait. Betty Koster, oplegger (person who matures cheese) of L’Amuse cheese shop, matures the Gouda for a minimum 24 months to get that complex nutty/caramel flavour profile.
