Printable Cheese Note

Recognisable by its unique grape imprint on the rind, washed with Pinot Noir that comes from the surrounding slopes of Mont Vully.

Made by Fromagerie Schafer at the same cheese plant that originally made Emmantaler. In 1993, cheesemaker Ewald Schafer and family started sourcing grass fed cows milk from a few farms around Cressier each morning; in order to make Vully to honour the unique terroir of this region.

The cheese is a reference to a hill in the Swiss plateau, Mont Vully.
