Details

Sometimes referred to as leberwurst, liverwurst is a spicy cooked sausage made from a mixture of ground liver and pork, seasoned with a variety of spices and many onions. The high liver content in the finished product earned it the name "liver sausage" in some parts of the world.

A little background

Obelix & Co is located in Fitzroy North. Chef Lachie McCallum and Kirsty Laird combine French classics with Australian produce, and the pair produce impressively their own range of charcuterie, sausage terrines and pâtés.
