The Literary Elixers Podcast focuses on matching books to food and drink!

Justine is a librarian who loves good food and drink and can’t stop talking about what book she’s read which would pair perfectly with that delicious cheese, wine, coffee, beer, and chocolate. In her regular podcast, she meets with purveyors of delicious elixirs and suggests some literature which would be a perfect match (because books go with pretty much anything!)

Justine sat down with our head cheesemonger Olivia to suggest some matchings. Including pairing the rich, buttery texture and minerally tang of Colston Bassett Stilton with The museum of modern love by Heather Rose. Describing the literary novel about a lost man in search of connection – a meditation on love, art and commitment, set against the backdrop of one of the greatest art events in modern history, Marina Abramovic’s "The Artist is Present". A weirdly beautiful, artistic tale … salty, savoury, with a long finish.
